After reading this sign at the trailhead we changed our original objective from Gibraltar to EEOB!We stayed on the Sheep River Trail / Road for about 10 minutes before plunging into light forest on the right.Steven walks on the broad scree shoulder just above tree line. The two false summits are above us here, with the true summit at far right in the distance. Sheep trails make the scree by-passes easier.Ben and Steven contemplate the amazing 157 peaks they've done together over the past 3 years!Heading up the SE ridge towards the second false summit block that must be traversed on climber's right unless you really like 5th class down climbing.Heading up the SE ridge towards the second false summit block that must be traversed on climber's right unless you really like 5th class down climbing.Interesting, easy scrambling on the lower SE ridge. This is where we traversed the false summit - you can just spot a giant cairn from here and there are even cairns with flaggingA nice ledge traverse around the second false summit leads to the ridge and the true summit in the distance. Bluerock to the right.Steven scrambles along the ridge.Interesting rock formations on the ridge.Traversing another part of the ridge on climber's right - more difficult scrambling if you stay on the ridgeLooking back along the nice ledge we traversed for a while.Ben tries some "pillaring".
