"New" bridges over Ribbon Creek."New" bridges over Ribbon Creek.The trail along Ribbon Creek has remained the same in a lot of places.The trail up North Ribbon Creek has been routed to the opposite side from before.The trail up North Ribbon Creek is in good shape.Ribbon Peak.Wind Mountain comes into view at upper right.Starting into the upper alpine bowl beneath the south face of Wind.Snow makes life a bit easier on the lower south face.Approaching the lower cliffs.Sticking closer to the center of the face is generally the way to go here.Sticking closer to the center of the face is generally the way to go here.Sticking closer to the center of the face is generally the way to go here.The summit block is high above me still.Views back to Sparrowhawk.A highway in the scree leads folks directly to 4th class slabs under the summit. Go right instead...Going right you come around a corner and follow this cliff up on scree.Next you round another corner and ascend moderate slabs to the summit.The moderate slabs have lots of grip.Views from Nestor, Old Goat, Sparrowhawk, Lougheed III, II, I, Collembola and Alan (R).
