Mike enjoys a magical morning at Devon Lakes.The sun rises over Clearwater Pass in this view to Dip Slope Mountain from Devon Lakes.Descending from Clearwater Pass into the Siffleur River valley / trail.Hiking NW along the soaking wet lower Siffleur trail with Watermelon and Bobac rising at left.The trail is overgrown enough that we got absolutely soaked from the morning dew.Starting our off trail ramble towards the lower SW slopes of Clearwater Mountain.Looking back down the lower SW ridge of Clearwater across the Siffleur Valley.Ascending the lower SW ridge of Clearwater Mountain. This mountain is huge!Mike and Cornelius are tiny on the lower SW ridge with Watermelon Peak looming across the Siffleur.Views back across the Siffleur Valley to Watermelon Peak.Another rubble field to ascend. Endless rubble but endless views as well. Easier terrain at lower right.
