The terrain nearer the gully is less steep but avy exposed.It's a glorious winter day in the Rockies.Looking up at the remainder of our route to the south ridge at center. Hector South Peak at left.Views start opening up towards Hector South (R) and peaks around Hector Lake.The south ridge is obvious now - summit at right.We're pretty small up here!
