We already well off route at this point, not 10 minutes from the car! We kind of knew that but decided we wanted to explore.Shrubby Cinquefoil. (Belongs to the rose family.)The ridge was easy to ascend.Looking back down our route, towards the northwest.There's the peak...From here it still looks possible to ascend the northeast ridge of Morro.
