Mount Minos looks so innocent and easy from here. Thank goodness we didn't know what was in store for our second peak of the dayAt Wolf Creek after bailing on the horse track somewhere between Labyrinth and Minos.The lower slopes of Minos are not very pleasant.This is a desolate place - and the hiking matches the mood here.Much better!Looking over at the easternmost ridge and the summit plateau from the western ridge.Looking over at the easternmost ridge and the summit plateau from the western ridge.The snow patches were very supportive so we stayed on them. Labyrinth visible through the trees here - it's obviously shorter than Minos.Burn areas always offer interesting geometrical patterns to photograph.Finally starting to contour now.This was actually very pleasant hiking on firm snow. It broke down about 100 vertical meters from here for some reasonTraversing to the eastern ridge now. Obviously higher than Labyrinth.Summit pano looking east and south.Snow squall over an unnamed peak to the SE.Nice pano looking from east to west off the summit.Dormer is an impressive mountain!Great view across the Ya Ha Tinda ranch.More views across the ranch - you can see buildings if you squint a bit.A unique view of Warden Rock with Tyrrell rising behind and Gable to the left.
